You can spend a small fortune on a decent high quality jacket, but it’s almost worthless if it’s not underpinned by a high quality baselayer. The Craft without a doubt is a solid foundation for the start of any successful winter layering system.

This base layer has the perfect amount of insulation and breathability while still staying warm. It’s a tight, without being either compressive or restrictive, so fits under jerseys nicely.

This one is made from 100% polyester very light weight, soft & comfortable. After a cold weather cycling ride, it is very effective at pulling moisture away from the skin. It stayed reasonably dry, and never smelt bad even during longer rides with the odd stop in a warm cafe.
