Chain is a key that drives the bicycle. If your chain is not in best condition, like dirty chain or chain stretch. It will decrease efficiency of your power. It make you slower and heavier to run your bike. Also when your shifting, the shift is not running smoothly, because the chain is dirty. Furthermore, dirty chain will damage your drivetrain. The damage of drivetrain will cost you much more, you have to change not only chain, also sprocket, pulley, and chainring. That is why change chain regularly and chain cleaning are important parts of bike maintenance.<\/p>\n

Change your chain regularly. The time you change the chain depends on how often or how far you ride your bike (at least you can check the stretch of the chain every 4000 km or every 3 months). Also how you take care or clean the chain also affects the condition of the chain.<\/p>\n

You can clean your chain with chain cleaner or degreaser.<\/p>\n

When use degreaser, to make a chain clean efficient and faster…pour the degreaser to chain cleaning machine…<\/p>\n

Then back pedal slowly for approximately 20 revolutions to fully clean the chain.<\/p>\n

Then use microfiber towel to remove any residue left by the degreaser.<\/p>\n
