Spring is truly on its way. Temperature is rising, and getting warmer. Like spring-blooming flowers to brighten up your day, it’s time for embracing what is new! Let’s go ready and go out for riding!<\/p>\n

  1. Tune Up Your Bike; How?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Clean the chain and the drivetrain, and don’t forget to lub the chain. Check the brakes, tyres, and gears. If you find or feel there is a problem with your bike, bring your bike to a mechanic you trust for check and maintenance.<\/p>\n

    2. Get your equipment in order<\/p>\n

    Is there something that you want to have, or already worn out, or in need of replacing. It’s better to check and order earlier, because some items may take time to get it.<\/p>\n

    3. Comfortable and Safety<\/p>\n

    Prepare the basic safety items, such as helmet and lights; check whether they still working well or not. Then additional items that may you need, like a windbreaker, sunglasses, shoes, and comfortable jersey.<\/p>\n

    Also don’t forget to recheck inside the saddle bag, you need to carry the basic gear required to fix a flat tire. That means It must contain a spare tube, a pair of tire levers, a small hand pump or CO2 inflator, and a multitool.<\/p>\n

    3. Cycling Companion<\/p>\n

    If you want to ride together with others, better check the local club or cycling association to register, and join their activities. It will be fun to experience new place, meet new friend, and share tips and stories together. Spring is right season to start connection, and welcome new experience.<\/p>\n

    4. Get The Bike Fit<\/p>\n

    If you still have spare money, better to use for bike fitting. If you’re a regular cyclist and have never gotten a bike fit, stop what you’re doing and make an appointment. A bike fit is the easiest way to not only feel more comfortable on the bike, but also improve body mechanics and efficiency. Getting one before you start training more seriously this spring.<\/p>\n
